Monte Eppich moved to Council and founded Mountains West Dental Clinic in 2002. Being a dentist in a rural community had been his intention for some time and after completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Creighton University in 2001, Dr. Eppich chose to pursue a post-doctoral residency at Idaho State University in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. This additional training prepared him for practicing dentistry in an area where healthcare options including dentistry were limited. Dr. Eppich enjoys the variety allowed by this choice in dentistry and besides offering standard general dentistry procedures such as crowns, tooth colored fillings, cleanings, dentures and root canals, he also places and restores several different types of dental implants and is certified in IV and oral conscious sedation. Dr. Eppich is also well versed in oral surgery such as removal of wisdom teeth and recontouring of bone for dentures, and routinely treats children.
Heather Lawrence has been in Council for over 20 years and has worked for Dr. Eppich for 17 years, 14 of which have been as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Heather attended Apollo College in Boise, Idaho and became board certified in 2006. She enjoys the patient education portion of her career and works hard to teach her patients how to increase their overall health through good home care and regular office visits.
We have offices conveniently located in both Council and Cambridge, Idaho and can schedule your appointment easily at either locale with the dentist or hygienist. Our friendly competent staff is dedicated to patient comfort and quality and is regularly trained on the latest OSHA requirements.
In addition to General Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry, we offer a full array of dental procedures including dentures placed the same day teeth are extracted. IV Sedation can be arranged as needed as well as oral sedation and multiple types of implants are placed and restored.
